So you want to travel in the deep SNOW?
(sand and mud)
Another 1st from Mattracks!
Introducing LiteFoot M3 and the M3 UR Models ATV Track Conversion System
The Awesome M3 “Monster Mountain Mattracks”

Mattracks, Inc. announces the release of the new LiteFoot M3 Model Series. The AWESOME M3 “MONSTER MOUNTAIN MATTRACKS” is the latest in a series of four ATV track systems introduced by Mattracks in the past year. Another first from the industry leader Mattracks.

The LiteFoot M3 is engineered with a focus on snow mobility, available in two versions, the M3 and the higher weight rated M3 “Ultra-Ride” [for utility ATVs].

Key features in the M3 track design include; the 6 inch longer, 13 inch wide track, and deep paddle treads [1 3/4 inch high], putting down an incredibly large foot print for a monstrous grip on the snow.

The new 13 inch wide track provides high flotation and excellent lift in powder snow. Adding up the total surface area of the four tracks, you have a contact patch that is more than 2200 square inches. The semi-rigid, paddle lugs are engineered with several design advancements including a 1 3/4 inch high lug for a more aggressive bite.

The LiteFoot M3 deep lugged track is specially designed to take advantage of LiteFoot’s internal suspension, the exclusive Shape Changing Suspension (SCS), resulting in an incredibly smooth ride, even with the more aggressive paddle style tread.

Mattracks offers a running board fender protector, which acts as a fender and foot guard saver, to protect the track lugs, foot guards and inside fender from occasional track contact. The skid plate style running board will be required on most installations to protect the track and ATV fenders from damage.

The LiteFoot M3 track system was based on the original LiteFoot track system, which is designed for all-seasons and all-terrains. LiteFoot has proven itself the most versatile ATV track conversion system on the market. The LiteFoot two M3 models are scheduled for release in January 2006 and join the two previous new releases; the LiteFoot XT track tread and the LiteFoot Ultra-Ride model released earlier in 2005.

Mattracks Introduces the LiteFoot XT tread for eXtra Traction

Mattracks, Inc. is pleased to introduce the new LiteFoot ATV track system for 2006, featuring a more refined, cast aluminum frame and the optional LiteFoot XT (Xtra Traction) rubber track. The newly designed cast aluminum frame not only has a more refined look, with cleaner lines and smoother castings, but includes structural enhancements which will allow for additional features in the future.

The LiteFoot XT track is designed for all-seasons and all-terrains just like the original track, offering several design advancements including a 1 inch deep lug for a more aggressive bite. When developing the new LiteFoot XT track tread, a number of factors had to be taken into consideration; ride comfort, vibration, handling, noise, and track efficiency. Mattracks didn’t want to sacrifice the smooth ride of the original track just to introduce a more aggressive tread, they did their homework first. The LiteFoot XT deep lugged track is specially designed to take advantage of LiteFoot’s internal suspension, the exclusive Shape Changing Suspension (SCS), resulting in an incredible ride.

During initial testing and comparisons between the original tread pattern and the XT, the XT tread was found to deliver improved traction, easier steering, and yet give an exceptionally smooth ride without lug induced vibration. The original tread will still come as the standard tread, with the LiteFoot XT tread as an option and a direct replacement to the original tread.

For work or play, MATTRACKS, manufactures the most technologically advanced, independent, rubber track system in the world for ATVs, SUV and Trucks up to 1 ½ tons. LiteFoot tracks can be enjoyed all year round in mud, snow, sand, through swamps and rough terrain, LiteFoot ATV tracks will get you out there and back again!

They say necessity is the mother of invention, and few situations rival military necessity. What is surprising is how often solutions to military problems turn out to be useful in everyday life. TACTICAL TO PRACTICAL is a new one-hour program from The History Channel that explores innovations developed for combat that have evolved into useful tools for civilian life. Hosted by Hunter Ellis, former Navy Fighter Pilot and SURVIVOR contestant.

LiteFoot rubber track conversion system was featured on ATV Television

ATV Television hosted by Doug Meyers and airing on The Outdoor Channel featured a story on the LiteFoot track system. Doug Meyers and the ATV Television crew install a set of tracks on a Kawasaki Prairie and take it to the rocky Sledgehammer and Jackhammer trails to try it out. They also test it in the sand dunes and then in the snow and the mud. Be sure to tune into ATV Television.

ATV Illustrated Magazine team make a 500 mile Alaska Trek using LiteFoot Tracks!

The ATV Illustrated Magazine team originally planned to follow the Iron Dog Snowmobile Race across Alaska on LiteFoot equipped Bombardier ATVs, but due to the unusually warm weather in Alaska the Iron Dog snowmobile race was canceled.  This is only the second time in 20 years of the Iron Dog Race that the race has been canceled.  As a result the scheduled ATV crossing of Alaska on the historic 1,100 mile Iditarod Trail was changed into an alternate trip. The new route covered a 500 mile trek which included trails in the scenic Denali National Park region of Alaska.

MATTRACKS supplied the LiteFoot ATV Track Conversions for the ATVs and their cargo trailers for the expedition. Learn more about the trip the equipment and the spectacular locations, by following the story as it unfolds in the next few issues of ATV Illustrated Magazine, due out on newsstands.

LiteFoot™ ATV Rubber Tracks goes into full production
After years of design engineering and extensive testing, LiteFoot patented ATV rubber track conversion goes into production. LiteFoot track conversion is the ultimate ATV accessory and with LiteFoot installed on your 4X4 ATV it will be transformed into a truly all terrain vehicle that can be enjoyed all year round for work and play.

Key LiteFoot features are the exclusive rubber torsion anti-torque linkage and the SCS® SYSTEM track suspension.  The exclusive rubber torsion anti-torque linkage prevents LiteFoot tracks from flipping over while in use on rough terrain.  The track suspension comes from LiteFoot’s exclusive SCS SYSTEM a “shape changing suspension” that adjusts to the ground terrain by allowing the leading wheels to move up and back while the center wheels move down and forward adjusting to the contours of the terrain without the loss of track tension.   The SCS SYSTEM track suspension gives the driver the ability to negotiate over most obstacles and provides a smooth ride.

LiteFoot ATV rubber track conversion offers many other features and advantages to the ATV owner who equips their ATV with LiteFoot rubber tracks.  With about 1320 square inches of surface contact, LiteFoot™ tracks deliver about 3/4 psi ground pressure giving the rider both great traction and flotation on soft terrain like snow, mud and sand.  The All-weather rubber track is specially formulated for long wear, to maintain its flexibility in extreme cold and provide superior traction in all weather conditions.

LiteFoot is easy to install, using common tools the conversion can be completed in as little as 45 minutes.  The LiteFoot track system in designed for simple maintenance with easy access to fittings and adjustments.

LiteFoot rubber tracks will give your machine about 4 inches of additional clearance, but with added width and length in your wheel base you lower your overall center of gravity gaining stability. LiteFoot has a low power requirement, with the LiteFoot design there is a natural gear reduction since the drive sprocket is about 1/3 smaller then the tire delivering more power to your tracks.

LiteFoot ATV rubber track conversion will add a new dimension to the ATV industry providing ATV owners with LiteFoot equipped machines the chance to take there ATVs to places they may not have been able to go before, to learn more about LiteFoot ATV tracks visit our web site at: www.litefootatv.com.

LiteFoot was there!

2002 WSA Midwest Hillcross Snowmobile Racing Race fans that attended any of the 2002 WSA Midwest Hillcross races, had the chance to see LiteFoot ATV Tracks in action!

LiteFoot equipped ATVs could be seen running up and down the ski slopes as support vehicles to the events crew. ATVs with LiteFoot tracks were used as tow vehicles to pull crippled snowmobiles off the hill as shown in the photo below.

Team LiteFoot was on hand at several of the events to take in the action and lend a hand.

Heads turned as a equipped pickup took to the hills [photo left] and drove to the top of one of the ski runs at Giants Ridge.

Team LiteFoot also took advantage of the snowy ski runs to put some extra time in on the factory test machines.
