Top 10 Reasons for Selecting LiteFoot “The Original
All Terrain” ATV Rubber Track Conversion System!
When you are looking at purchasing an ATV track conversion system, here are 10 great reasons for making your choice LiteFoot.
10. Great Warranty
Full One Year Limited Warranty.
9. Full Range of Operating Speeds
Maximum speed on LiteFoot tracks depends on the maximum speed of your ATV on original tires. LiteFoot ATV tracks are engineered to operate using a natural gear reduction which typically lowers the top end speed of your ATV by about 30%. LiteFoot tracks are capable of traveling at speeds within your ATV original manufacturers factory specifications and top speed is only limited by the size of your ATV. Low range operation allows you to convert maximum low end torque, allowing you to power through the toughest terrain.
LiteFoot recommends that you operate your ATV at speeds that are appropriate for the riding conditions and not beyond the abilities of the driver or the ATVs capabilities.
8. Added Ground Clearance and Stability
Typically LiteFoot tracks add 4-6 inches of extra ground clearance depending on the diameter of your original tire. Ground to the center of your wheel hub with LiteFoot is a between 15 and 17 inches, depending on tread pattern and suspension set-up. LiteFoot tracks widens your ATVs stance and lengthens the footprint contact from front to rear. Since most of the weight of the tracks system is below the center of the drive axle, LiteFoot provides incredible stability compared to tires!
7. Strong Component Material in the Frame, Sprocket, Axles, Wheels and Internal Suspension
The LiteFoot track system frame, drive sprocket and some additional components are made of solid cast aluminum, the surfaces won’t rust and you won’t see any paint chips. Wheels are made from a composite material and keyed to a steel axles which run on triple sealed bearings through a sealed steel axle housing. Lubrication points on the suspension are easily accessed for greasing with the supplied grease gun.
6. Up to 3500 Pounds Gross Vehicle Weight Rating [GVWR]
The standard LiteFoot track system is rated for 2500 lb. gross vehicle weight, The Utility-Rated model offers a 3,500 lb. GVWR. The gross vehicle weight rating includes; the ATV weight without wheels, operator and total cargo weight. In general, with the 3500 lb. GVWR, the LiteFoot UR covers most utility ATVs on the market today. For non-utility 4x4 ATVs, when fully equipped and loaded within the ATVs original manufacturers vehicle weight ratings, including an operator, the standard model LiteFoot stays well within the 2,500 lb.
